Super painting - love your sky. Such freshness and immediacy - most attractive.

Lovely clean, crisp and watery watercolour....very nice.

It has a pleasing sense of immediacy - did you find that stapling the paper to your board was preferable to the more traditional gummed paper technique?

No, on this 1/2 imperial sheet I stapled using a standard office desk stapler at 2inch gaps all around and the paper did cockle so not as good as Gummed paper. I normally do not use any paper stretching and just bulldog clips but when I do I use a Ken Bromley Perfect Stretcher system which is very good if you are going to get very wet.

Hi Thea and thanks for your kind words. Now why does your name sound familiar ?

THanks Fiona for looking and commenting, much appreciated.

Just a simple imaginary scene verry loosely based on the road to Pin Mill. Done in about 30 minutes with the help of a dryer. i was seeing how well the bockingford stood up to being 'stapled' to my drawing board so it started with a very watery sky and I then added imaginary buildings etc.
