Reminiscent of Per Kirkeby! You have caught 3 things very well - One can see a face or two (excitement); neighbouring colours provide dynamics rather than the quiet pleasure of complementary colours; and none of your colours are flat - - is that a natural talent, or did you fall into it? ;-)

Thank you Jorgen and I will try to explain. I rarely paint abstracts and whatever subject I'm painting I completely disregard any basic rule if it suits me - ie juxtaposition of colours. In short I'm free!! Babylon was conceived after I'd laid on some colours and it just came! Then I decided to paint another large abstarct entitled The Second Coming which was planned and based upon the biblical tale. I will upload this later. Natural talent? Let's just say I've been painting professionally for about 35 years but it's just about the toughest way to earn a living:) Thanks for your interest.

A rare excursion for me into abstract art.
