Beautiful colour and sparkle. Love the little figures.

Love this painting Alan. It is so atmospheric with the subdue colours, the gentle blues, the sparkle on the sea and to finish it beautifully, the well choosen contrast of colours between the yellow and purples.

This looks even better when enlarged - you've really gone for the spatter, which is the best way to go for it: half-hearted spattering just looks as though someone dropped the brush.... Really conveys the sparkle on the water... very satisfying painting.
