Solitude

Wonderful sense of solitude and the calmness a morning by the sea. You are really managing to pare things down to the absolute minimum and still convey what you are trying to say.

Ahhh... the peace and solitude is so well conveyed. Beautiful.

Hardly anything there and yet you have conveyed the mood very well. There is almost a sense of isolation and sorrow, perhaps due to the blue/grey background?

I can't put it into words but I know what you mean to convey. The feeling of being the only person in the world enjoying a walk on the beach, during the hazy days of summer. Just lovely :)

Thanks so much for all your comments, much appreciated, as always. Yes, on this early morning walk, I felt like the only person alive. The light was such, that there was no horizon and yet you knew the sun was just about to burst through. The only sign of life, apart from my own noise, was the constant stream of Swallows dipping on to the sea for a drink [?]
