Do people notice you sketching them, I wonder? I don't think I'd have the nerve.... A very accomplished sketch and, in passing, you have beautiful handwriting!

Thanks Robert, sometimes they do, and we get talking -they tend to ask loads of questions about art and sketching and it gives me an opportunity to share a little about what I do. But on the other hand some people just can be bothered, London life on public transport is far from being social and private space is a big issue, so as far as you are not close, most people aren't bothered. Give it a try, I find it hard to read on the bus ot train but sketching is fun! If the ocassion arises like has once in a while and someone doesn't like being sketched, I simply comply and stop sketching.

I love your work! It is really original and inspiring. Do you sketch daily? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Amanda! Yes, I sketch every time I'm in public transport, almost everyday.

Great sketch with loads of character. Was the lady in question really that large? As Billy Connolly would say - obviously no stranger to a fish supper! Another of your masterpieces.

Have just caught up with your fabulous London Transport sketches...You so bring your models to life, I love the skilled and knowledgeable way you construct the heads and bodies. you have obviously a great talent, and I admire you for using it so well.
