Hi Adam, Glad to see another piece of work. I loved the sea colour, and the texture of the oil paints. (I have never tried oil.) I do like acrylics as you can use them so many different ways. For my botanical work I think the watercolour works best though.

That's a very mature piece of work for a first attempt in oil; in fact, I started with oil paints, and moved on to acrylic and only then to watercolour. I like the textures in this - which you can get with oil: you're a LOT better than I was at 14... just keep painting - I don't think you need any advice, just practice.

I agree with Robert: for a 14 year-old your work is magnificent. I wish I had been able to do this at that age, although I was drawing from a very young age on. Keep on practicing and post your work for feedback. Your meerkat is also very good!!! keep on going!!!
