Just superb - I quite like your provisional title, but titles are not my strong point. This sort of painting does seem to me to be what oil paint was made for.

Thank you very much Robert. I am very glad you liked it. If you'll look closer and on the enlarged picture you may observe some jealousy on the face pf the guy on the right side (the one with the red scarf). Best, Abraham.

There seems to be more conflict than friendship in their body language Abraham and yes a little jealousy too, great painting.

Deep discussion comes to mind here. Great composition, the people are seated in very interesting positions.

Thank you William and Carole for your very kind comments. These mean a lot to me.

I love the way your art is going Abraham. These paintings in the 'friends' series, showing the focus subjects in more striking and deeper colours than the background, really brings them forward. I love them, whatever you decide to call them! Jx

Thank you Jean for your very kind feedback.

Oil colors on canvas done with painting (or palette) knives, 2011, 100x80 cm. The title is temporary and I would appreciate suggestions. I could also call it "The Young Ones" It is advisable to view this painting under "View Full Size" in order to capture the 3D-like texture. The digital photo is taken outside around 5 pm.
