Thankyou for all your comments, when you see it close up there is a tear in her eye, the back wall was originally cream which I changed dark, I wanted the painting all red, green and gold, and one of my favourite old masters on the wall.

Hello Jennifer, thank you for your lovely comments they are very much appreciated.'Low Snab' is found near the top of Newlands Valley near Keswick in Cumbria, my wife and I have walked there many times, I have painted quite a few views in this valley and there are more to do, it's a lovely place but there are lots of lovely valleys in Cumbria!
