Thankyou Jeanette and Rob, yes this is one of my favourites, I like to try and copy the old masters to learn their different styles and apply them in my own work.

Great rendition. I guess the photo doesn't do it justice. Love the use of colour and the subtle revelations of flesh. At first the figure appears to be sleeping, but her slight smile and left foot , taking her weight, suggests she is waiting to be found by someone she knows is not to far away. My wife does it all the time. Thanks again for previous comments. Y Felinheli was the place depicted in 'i hate holidays' Although I did alter the background as it contained a couple of run down buildings and a public toilet. The area in general is a little run down, but the views and coast are great. It is between Bangor and Caernarfon off the A487.
