Really good Denise. You can imagine the structure of the figure beneath the clothing and that’s correct, doesn’t always happen in figure drawing.

I started an oil painting today of an underwater scene, when I could go no further today, I thought I might want some practice at drapery. As I was looking, I came across this drawing by Degas. I thought it was beautiful and because I've been practising neck's and this drapery looked so nice, I wanted to draw it myself. I read he didn't do it as a study for a painting and I think, it would have made a wonderful painting. It was a good practice for me.
