Do you still paint in oil, as well as making prints? I hope so, because you very much have your own style: I can feel myself (as it were) in this painting - it's a living thing.

We all need to escape to somewhere, at some time, and what better place than this. I like the tonal quality and the atmosphere it creates.

This is wonderful, it has such a lovely mood and atmosphere and the colour palette is superb.

75! Great year. I had a fleeting play with oils that year. Mine were absolute rubbish though and this is beautiful.

@Robert - I very rarely paint in oils now - this was my first ever try with them. No doubt when the fascination with printmaking dwindles I will again

@Diana well '75 is rather a long time ago - remember the hot summer of '76 better. This was my first try with oils

No time for printmaking this week but I found my first ever two oil paintings. This was painted in 1975 from a plein air watercolour done on the previous Boxing Day (probably escaping family!). Oil on canvas 16'' x 12''
