Bracken The Red Fox
As much as I'm known for big sweeps of colour, the white space in my work is just as important - symbolising purity & innocence. So when I paint younger animals, like Bracken here, it feels less necessary to involve intense colour because the white of the paper is the overriding meaning I want to imbue in a piece.
