During the last few months my studio time was spent in sketching and generally just messing about with various media, but I recently completed this. It's acrylic and crayon on canvas 72 x 62cm. Whilst I usually paint intuitively, It seems to be inspired by the power of recent winter storms.

My obsession with painting started in September 2022. I love walking in the hills and mountains of northern England. That inspired me to try and capture the feelings of place in paint. It's an endless but joyful journey. My other passion is making stringed musical instruments.
