Trying To Find Inspiration

Very effective, Chris and love how you have painted that water with the surrounding grasses and foliage!

A great effort Chris, especially for 40 minutes work!

I’ve been like that Chris, but back into it again… in fact I’m on a roll! I’ve just finished a mixed media sort of townscape! Anyway, that’s a decent job in the time…

I know what you mean, Chris. Have been there! But this is a great scenery and a job well done!

Inspiration well found Chris!

Thank you David David Alan Mia and Heather I appreciate all your comments.

Good job Chris.

Takes me away. This works so well.

It works for me Chris, smashing painting in the time, and against your block.

Thank you Denise Martin and Fiona much appreciated as always I can assure you.

We’ve all been there Chris. Good effort considering. Stick at it!

Sometimes you just need to put paint on paper. Good result Chris.

Well this is a super piece of art and I think what you’ve shared is a good lesson as it can be difficult at times to find something inspiring!

Beautifully painted Chris. A great composition and the grasses are super.

Love the broody sky and the lovely foreground light Chris. It’s a painting with life and movement and a fantastic result for 40 minutes. I’ve been having the same experience and it’s very frustrating not to be able to paint and when you can, you don’t know what to do.

Well done for getting some paint down on paper, it looks really good. It’s quite miserable when you can’t get started and to use your imagination and do what come into your head is great .

For the first time in ages I have found myself free to paint. Well that was the idea. But hours later I still had not found inspiration even after searching through numerous photos and ideas. So in desperation I gave myself an hour to do something. This came from my imagination in a time of forty minutes or just over. Not great but something to ease my frustration.
