Yes it does work very well. I'm picturing the painting without it, still good, but the kite adds interest.

A splash of red always works, the old masters very often used it too, so you are in good company Chris.

It does obviously gathering attention, the red colour is hard to be missed at any scenario, as we all react to the red immediately ;) You did put some sense of action and life to this painting for sure Chris.
