This excellent work is from a lady artist out of Nebraska usa. Her name is Geraldine Dobos (Jeri dobos) she has her own website and I recommend you looking over her work.
Refreshing to see something outside the box - I will certainly look her up.
This has been reported as spam: but I've referred it upwards to the Mighty Dawn, since I'm not at all confident that it is.  One is not a censorious man - one is almost too tolerant: and yet ...... also strangely unsuspicious.  I shall happily remove it if you think I should, and yet = I can't quite see the problem............ is one too tolerant?

No idea how two posts appeared here.   Anyway - any thoughts?
Hi Robert I can assure you it is not spam. Geraldine(Jeri) is a very good artist and tries her hand in many different styles. She also has her own studio/gallery where she shows off her works and gives space to upcoming artists aswell. I would certainly recommend you googling her and go to her website. Kindest regards Konrad.

The thing I would ask, why doesn't the artist just join the site and post her own stuff. This for one, would make me think a bit. Then, on the other hand, is she shy and her friend is just trying to put her work forward for a bit of feedback. So there are a few questions in mind and some things to consider I would have thought. If in doubt, take the precautions necessary until sure.
I always think it’s preferable if the artist communicates directly with forum members, rather than through a third party, but I suppose it doesn’t have to be that way!  I can’t see any logical reason why they wouldn’t want to... The gallery is of course the best place to submit artwork.

Why Konrad have you joined POL and the forum, as you have not  posted any of your own work and seems to be only content in pushing the artist. I do have a suspicious mind and sorry Konrad you intentions may be well , we have a lot on so called new members  who join just to advertise products etc and all never post any of their own work.  I’m not sure what you intended, that does make me suspicious.
I never joined as an artist but as an admirer! Obviously I've come to the wrong part of the forum. Begging your pardon but which part of the forum should i move to?
The gallery is the place to post your own work. The forum is the place to discuss art and I see nothing wrong with someone drawing our attention to an artist we may not be familiar with as is the case here although I can understand a degree of suspicion given past experience of people using the forum inappropriately. Having said that I didn't view it as such and was happy to accept it at face value until, and if, I had reason to think otherwise. In fact I found it a welcome change to the predominance of posts about individuals own work. Just to make a point  I have, in the past, done exactly what Konrrad has done, by posting here about an artist I found and without anyone querying it. The difference, I guess, is that I do post my own work from time to time and I am established here in the forum. So are we really coming over all snooty and saying that only practicing artists can join in our debates and discussions and not artist lovers?

I hope not, Michael.  I'm always interested when someone posts about an artist they like.  It doesn't always mean I'll like them, of course...but often I'm pleased to discover an artist new to me.
