How is it people? One of my best Portrait drawing, it took me 3 hours to finish this work. I do such pencil portraits just to get the resemblance right. I have done more than 1000 portraits just for the sake of practice. How is the likeness ? Please share your thoughts.
The likeness is good - and hard to achieve: anyone who has ever tried to draw another person knows how difficult it is, the more so if one has to rely on photographic evidence alone.   If you were working from photographs in this case, I would have found the one of the lady very hard to do because there isn't enough information on the way her hair falls in the photograph: her hair is so dark, and she's standing against a dark background.  That would have been a real challenge.
Yes Sir. It was purely a study from photograph. And the photo was not all that clear. Anyway I had good time practicing. Thank you for your compliment <3
Very good drawings Ramya. If you have done so many it would be lovely to see them on the Gallery here on POL. You have achieved a good likeness which as Robert says is hard, but obviously practice makes perfect. My only (very) slight criticism is that I feel the lady’s face should be a little thinner/narrower from her nose down, especially on the right as we look at her. That may seem very picky but I can’t find anything else to criticise! Please show us more.
Ok Madam I will share more on POL. Let me check what that is. Also thank you for your kind criticism.
Ramya this is the POL forum (Painters On Line ) , there is  a gallery attached to this site where we display our paintings etc , it is this gallery that  Tessa is referring too. It there that you will get feedback about your artwork from the people that view the  gallery and want to comment. Look forward to seeing your work there .
Thanks Dixie. Ramya if you go to the menu at the top of this page, there’s a drop down with a choice of the gallery and other options. Have a look.

Why?  Have I missed something?
Ramya, if you are looking for critique on your drawings then it’s absolutely fine to continue posting on this forum under ‘works for critique’. You can also post the same images on the gallery section which will give you a wider audience and receive general comments etc!
This will be my last post here.
