Just thought someone out there might be interested in my latest effort. Having just returned from Lanzarote. I'm having a go at a large ( for me ) landscape orientation of a busy day at Playa Blanca.  Stage one. Some basic pencil lines. Mainly to make certain it will fit the pages.

Very interesting and good progress being made. You may need to beef up some of those darks at a later stage… Payne’s grey does tend to dry much lighter… as I’m sure you know Martin.
Thanks Alan. I'll take on board your comments.
It’s Looking really good Martin , I use Payne’s grey a lot and Alan is absolutely right yiu think it’s spot on the the darn stuff drys lighter , still get caught out occasionally.

I have increased some of the darks. Once I have add some colour highlights I will see how they are. And go over them again if needed.
Good composition Martin, looking forward to the finished drawing.
