Finally got round to adding some more paint to this, after I'd spent longer than I'd planned sketching it. Mountboard covered with black gesso, alkyd paints for speed of drying.

Shaping up really well Marjorie, I’m liking the composition and tonal range. A possible contender for TAPC competition perhaps?

Done a bit more, now I've got max 2 hours before light really changes. Will concentrate on focal point ( centre ) and bring that up and adjust the surrounding bits after. Photo taken in daylight this time, reason it's cooler.
