Well thanks everyone! Ha ha, not quite finished fiddling yet.
I love what you'v done with the painting. Well done! I want to walk into it and explore.
Thanks Bill and everyone.
A beautiful choice of colors for the ground. It's a lovely landscape.
Any update? I searched online for essay samples because I am a college student who struggles with writing, and I came to the following website click here now to this site, I've seen a number of essay examples, which has improved my writing.

Yes Robert….finished and put on the gallery quite a while ago. Thanks for asking. I did prefer the first version I painted which is on the left.
I wouldn't kick either of them out of bed! Would the one on the right be a touch more .... what's the word; careful - than the one you preferred?  In both cases, I like your violets against those warm browns, yellows, and near oranges.   I think I mildly prefer those arching, lively grasses on the left, but then I also like the foreground shrub on the right of the one on the right.  I'd be quite happy with either of them.
Thanks Robert, I intended the right-hand one to be more….let’s say…” less careful”. It proved not to be after the initial foray, it was a b****r! I think I learned that it’s not so easy to recapture something, better to do a different view.
There’s not a lot in it for me… I like both of them but I prefer the more deeper slightly graduated sky on the second one!
I like both paintings, each look as if it is painted at a different time of day. The first has a slightly misty morning look. The second a late afternoon feel. Very nice, Marjorie.
Thank you all, yes Carol, the light does look different, not intentional. Hoping to get out and paint in the next few days, when this torrential rain has passed.
After trimming the garden hedges, yesterday, the plan was to paint one of the lovely blue Hydrangea growing among the hedge, the heaven opened up and didn't stop all day. Still raining this morning :(
