And the trouble is, Malcolm - that a new post will relegate yours; though there we are; I did try to keep yours to the top.  This is the issue here - you can add to another's thread, and keep it live; or you can post anew, and relegate it.  You pays your money, you takes your choice.

Hi Robert, Okay I now understand what you were doing. Thanks for the effort but I am more than happy to let my WIP posts fade away as other new items from other artists appear. Can't stay No 1 forever.

I have posted a short time ago so should be there for a wee while at least.
Good - I'm sure you'll get the reviews you deserve; and you deserve only the best.  
Robert, I am looking forward to seeing your painting develop, I like the look of it already and I would never have thought to use a crayon to remind me where to put my lightest lights.

I was totally lost… confused in fact with the content… it’s as though parts of the thread have been deleted! - are you asking for comment on your WIP?
