I’m not sure why I started this, other than I dip in and out of a series of online courses for oldies, (over fifties).  The challenge has been set and I don’t get round to do much detailed graphite work.  The subject is Charlie Chaplin’s “the Kid” and the reference photo is from Wikipedia.  You don’t see many pictures of children published these days, so I took the chance of this 100 year old photo.  The boy is probably dead by now, but will stay forever immortal.

The Kid was Jackie Coogan.  He died on March 1, 1984, aged 69. You have certainly caught the eyes, Linda.
