Here is my latest work, just off the drawing board. This time one of my favourite 'modern' locomotives from the early 1960's a Class 52 Western diesel (named 'Champion'). This one resides at the Severn Valley Railway and is seen here near the Engine House stop between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth. A lovely spot where the track snakes through the countryside and makes for a good scene for a painting (well I think so)!!!
They were modern once Malcom! Which livery will she be in?
Well you think so (good scene for a painting), and you're right.  As ever, looking forward to seeing where your train takes you.

Peter, I am doing it in the livery she is in currently at SVR and that is the BR blue with the yellow front panel around the numbers. Malcolm
Update on the Western Champion painting. Some initial work now done.
Nothing like a bit of blood and custard to brighten a picture!
Very true Peter.
A bit of an update on the progress on this painting. Slow but steady is the best I can say.
Looking good Malcom - of course a steam loco would have been there by now!
Progressing well with this painting and feel like it's now on the home straight towards completion.
Absolutely brilliant Malcolm, just as all your painting are.
Looking good Malcom, I'm really enjoying seeing it progress.
