Thank you Sylvia and Gillan for you very kind comment. I haven’t done much today busy doing boring everyday things.
Added a sone note base colours a d started a bit of the detailing, the letters on the side of the tank took quite a while. I do hope it looks like the stencilled letter have faded away but left the impression behind .

Thanks Anth , I having to remember that in the older trucks and cars Ford used a lot of different metals and the wheel spokes were made of wood . Have all the different material and treatment of metals affects the rusting the colours would be different due to the mix of base metal etc the wood will have gone a grey colour with rusts streaks from the rims . All good fun and ax you know it’s the research that takes the time as well.

It’s makes it interesting when you have so many different type of material to paint . I haven’t done much as the heat is affecting me and the paint , problem with watercolour it drys too quick in this heat. Still it’s a bit of progress better than non , still a lot to do on the background, foreground and some detailing on the truck .

Thanks Anth, I’m really enjoying painting it and trying out the different colours etc. Not being able to work so fast is actually turning into a bit of a benefit as it’s given me time to look at the textures etc more . I hope to do a bit more later today as always other things get in the way of painting .
