Cracking result Dixie, and I like the sign on the stable door!
Thanks Tessa and everyone for their comments and encouragement, it really does help when people make suggestions and offer encouragement. My big thank must go to the lovely Sylvia as it was her comment that prompted me to try painting a horse , thank you Sylvia and a pat for his highness Sam.
Sam says thank you and gives a lick.
Good 'un.  Your first horse, I think you said?  It's a lovely painting.
Thank you Robert , it’s the first proper attempt, I have sketched horses and did a watercolour sketch but nothing as involved as this one.
Wow. Absolutely love it Dixie! You’ve handled the painting so delicately, it really is beautiful.
Thanks Anth it was stressful but fun as well, I now have a liking for painting horses .
Fat fingers.

Nice work Paul  I was always told horses and bikes were the hardest thing to draw. You can get in a rut painting safe pictures.  Has anyone else stepped out of their comfort zone. I usually step out when doing commissions..these two are as far away from bricks and girders as you can get..
Ha….no bricks…I do like these two Bari.
These are so diverse Bari and also v good!
These are lovely Bari.
