This is a piece of A 4 Yupo paper .  It’s nature  is very smooth and shiny.  Which means that you can wash it all off f you don’t like it.  This was  a woodland and it hadn’t worked ,so I just held it under the tap.  Sorry Dixie it was from one of your pics.   The wash made it just like new.   So I gave  it several coats of water colour,  blues ,greens ,purples and added some lemon yellow.     Allowed a small amount of drying then with a clean wet brush  painted  up and down in vertical lines.   I have just used more clean water to start to paint even more snow drops…our lanes are covered in them.  Oh do you know it’s bad luck to bring them indoors ?   So I am now going to spend some happy time and more faffing ( do not read that as farting)  and make my snow drops appear from what was once Dixies woodland.  Watch this space .
Like this Sylvia, you have probably improved the photo anyway, never any need to apologise for mistake that works out well.
I like how this is going Sylvia.
An hour later …having had a coffee and a natter with a neighbour.   Will let it dry and have a think.  Not sure if the edges of the snow drops are as sharp as I would like .   Contemplating a bit of white gouache  but will probably let it be.  A learning curve .
Wow smashing! I do love snowdrops. 👍
Lovely!
Must put the Yupo away…. Am going to concentrate on eyes and noses Marjorie .

I’ve got to do a bit of concentration too, Sylvia. I wonder why I’m not getting down to the “ dresser”. ( This is a commission which will take a bit of thinking about ) I’ve been spending time on the Feb challenge and enjoying it and “avoiding “. But there are a couple more challenges…..aaagh!
Prevarication….get thee  behind me Yupo .
