Fed up with drawings a foot from my visage and strong lights. Though the man and child will be off to France next week to the dad and kid holding hands...
Marjorie has encouraged me to just go for it, so am sitting at my BIG easel and looking across the Vale. Still have a light and good day light.
Let's see where it goes am using a big big bristle brush ..
Plus covered in my usual acrylic splash. But having fun.....oh yes it's wine time. Great.

I do feel for you, Sylvia - I know how important painting and drawing is to you: and if your eyes were mine, I'd be bloody angry with them. However - you've done a fine job here.
I think also that you've answered a question many people have asked on various forums, i.e. can you/should you use a bristle brush with acrylics? To which the answer is YES, of course you can -- and you can use synthetics with oil; and with watercolour; and with gouache; with which you can also use bristle brushes, so get over yourselves and pick up the brush you feel you want to use: most of the time, you'll be right.
Wine time here, too - and friends want to meet up with me tomorrow; and another friend on Monday! It's hell being all the rage, I tell you! But very encouraging that friends still want to meet up with me, which, I am sure, is true for you too. It's our magnetic personalities, you see....
