I'm a new artist and struggling with the shape of the wall on the left.. ideas pretty please. Also any feedback on the ongoing painting please

The angle looks wrong! Too acute I think. You’re presumably working from a photo so recheck it from that. You need to establish some deeper tones, it’s looking a bit flat, otherwise a promising start.

Just to elaborate on that, walls in shade will be quite dark, along with their cast shadows. Don’t use black!

Alan is spot on , the walls need attention. The rest is quite really well  painted Ido  like the reflections on the water. Definitely no black for the shadows just use darker tone of the colours you are using . You had the right person giving you advice , Alan doesn’t miss much in any painting certainly worth listening to.
