I bought a pad of 20 A3 canvas sheets that said the were for water based oils, acrylic and other water based pigments. As it was only £4:99 I though I would give it a try with watercolour I did get two as they were on offer . The sheets are very thin linen and definitely have canvas look and feel to them , I cut one in half and tried quite thick watercolour paint just put it on to see how it looked and felt.
I was quite impressed as it held the paint better than I thought it would .
Now to try doing a painting on the other haft , a tree that has snapped of a branch in heavy snow is the subject I chose. I want to see it it works using watercolours thinly this is the result so far.

Hopefully it will work out well .

It’s
