This is a piece of commentary aimed at those who will hunt wild animals for pleasure. I include some both very high ups on the social ladder, rich beyond compare, who see this as "sport". I call it murder and it is against everything the human race is doing to redress the balance of ecology.
I so agree...
Ditto!
It is abhorrent in this day and age, however, there's a huge difference between sport and subsistence hunting. If your going to kill it, eat it, I cannot see any point otherwise. What about fishing, what's your thoughts on that? Just because some of the things in the sea aren't mammals, does that make it ok to, as you put it, 'murder' them? One thing that does my head in is the selfish attitude people have when they go and live 'off grid' they are going into a specific environment, and think any wildlife that comes into their space 'shoot it' I agree, a redress should be on the cards, some say there is. The biggest glaring problem, and nothing is being done about it, the human population. . .

I do get it Richard, I'm really do, killing animals is hurting my entire existence, as I'm a human being, and I'm fully aware, that WE humans are the worst creatures on planet Earth. Some my see it differently?, but to me, wherever I look, up or down, left or right - we just killing everything - climate, animals, water (changing the way the rivers runs...) etc. To feed up human population we keep in captivity pigs, cows, chickens ... Those poor animals have no rights, they are factory born, having no life from start to the short end. Shooting to kill means nothing to me in comparison. It's because the latter involves cruelty... then kill. I do agree to what Carol J. mentioned. It's good to speak in name of animals, but the whole subject it's much deeper... °°° I do understand Richard, that you for sure do feel for ALL ANIMALS, and you did point out the narrowed aspect in here only - well done.°°°
