It’s a pretty darn good result Denise - some nice passages of brush/colour work on display, and I’m impressed with your overall accuracy! Just look at those glasses as an example… impressed I certainly am! Happy New Year to you also!

Thanks very much. My older son, whom I did a drawing of first, now wants his portrait in oil. He said he loves this of his brother. I'm pleased with it. There is room for improvement but that gives a yearning to keep on and strive to do better with the next one.

Thanks Marjorie and you are so right about being our own worst critics. I'm rarely pleased but sometimes you just have to say to yourself, well, it's a fair job here and that's why I feel pleased with it. I feel we all sail in the same boat.
