Despite the heat I’m still trying to work in watercolour, I do wonder how artist in the past when on the grand tour etc coped as predominantly they worked in watercolour.
I sketched this out last evening when it was cooler , and added the base colour this morning, around nine o’clock, it’s actually almost complete now but I’m going to post it in stages before posting on the gallery.
The first washes were not to bad and I had a bit of time before they dried out.



Currently it’s around thirty two degrees in my Shedio ( shed/studio .

To be honest Paul I think it looks rather lovely like it is. But of course, I totally understand about getting to show the vibrancy. The mount adds to those gorgeous blues and greys. Must say well done for perseverance. Look forward to seeing it when you are happier with the photo. I have the same problems. Mine come out extra pale. It is lovely though.
