The A35 , Minor 1000 etc we’re family car's I’ve seen family’s go away for a weeks holiday in one.  Look at the size of the cars families use these days they are the size of if not bigger that some of the vans that were around at the time. I noticed a Minor 1000 in racing colours a few years ago it did look odd the guy that owned it said he has a Hillman Imp for racing as well.
Superb work. After looking at the two cars for a couple of minutes, I just can't find any flaws. Every tiny detail seems to be painted with minute precision.
Cheers Lucian! The camera is possibly flattering this one slightly, the cars are smaller than I’d normally paint them so there’s the odd wobble - but the lady who asked me to paint them is happy so far, and that’ll do me!

Day 10: started blocking in the British racing green bodywork of the Sprite Will try and get the reflections in the top half of the car done tomorrow.
These paintings are brilliant, Anthony and so detailed.  I prefer them to any photograph, in fact I wouldn't want to compare them with a photograph.
Brilliant as ever Ant.  Keep up the good work!
Thanks both :)
Superb .
Day 11: didn’t get as far along with the Sprite as I would’ve liked, but decent progress nonetheless - Was a bit fiddly as I couldn’t see the reflection lines so had to freehand straight onto the car. Think it’s come out ok though.
Superb artwork it’s coming along beautifully Anth , I really like the green colour the light reflections look fine .
Cheers Paul :) Got the bodywork finished tonight, other than the bonnet and door shut lines:
Anth I have said this before, well  I think I have .  The work you do is so specialised and so intricate it's way out of my ken. I so admire it though . A vintage car rally came through our little lanes the other week and I did enjoy the reminiscences .  Cars from my life...my Dads ,the one I learned to drive in...the Morgan ,a first boy friend had ,a Caterham special...the hand built one,  fibre glass body with Jaguar engine ....huh....more cars than I thought.....now if you introduced a dog car or one covered in flowers...lol.
