I haven’t done a WIP for a while, several reasons though people might be bored of them, my continuing hand problem and the heat , the latter is the most difficult to cope with . I decided to use a very old faded B/W photo of three men building a boat in a boatyard. A good sixty percent is imaginary, as are  the colours , quite a challenge as there are so many lines in the build structure and of course the boats . Bit wobbles in places but in fine with that , I wouldn’t paint if I worried about line looking wobble .  This is my basic sketch , I find having it quite detailed helps but of course it changes as we go along sometimes for aesthetic reasons, plus the occasional use of artistic license. I then added base colours, yesterday, phew was it hot I had to keep wetting the paper so I could move the paint around. I always step back and look at the painting as it give you a better idea of how it looks.
Moved on a few stages , again done yesterday , started to add the detailing to the shed and boats.
Well is is a far as I have been able to get , as it’s been far to hot since Saturday to do anymore work on it .
It's progressing nicely Paul.
Thank you George, I have progressed a bit more as it was cooler this morning.  Not much more to do now and I will sign it off .
I’m busy with gardening projects, so apologies for not commenting before… because it’s a cracking good job once again Paul, top notch I’d say…
Thank you Alan , I appreciate your comment.

I managed to get a bit more spooner yesterday morning before it became uncomfortable hot , paint drying on the pallet and brush.
Progress is great, Paul. I'm liking the composition angle. I also enjoyed seeing the addition of all the timbers/furnishings....brought more life to it. Fine piece indeed.
Added a few basic details , will leave it now or I will start to fiddle around with it.
Like this very much, great detail, and I like that you have one of the men just standing and "supervising".
Thanks Sandra , think he’s management, do little talk a lot, either that or he’s the dodger ( dodges the work ).
