Looking good Linda with a lovely range of greens.
That’s coming on wonderfully Linda, some super darks established.
Thanks for every ones comment, Alan I had already done more to my painting when you gave me your advice so I am showing my painting as it is at the moment, will leave it for now and crack on with it tomorrow, taking all your advice on board. I can always alter things if i need to. Thanks
This is looking really good Linda, the dark areas are making the lighter bits stand outside so well.
Really good so far Linda. Just went back to the first stages again. It has really developed nicely
Thanks Paul and Marlene, started to work a bit more on it taking Alans advice on the background trees, will post next picture later, have a nice weekend and stay safe.
Now I’m anxious Linda, hope I’ve got it right! But do your own thing of course, as you will and should - mine are just suggestions and is how I see it.
Great, will be waiting on your post Linda. Alan you're anxious as if it were you painting it 😄
Don't, worry Alan, I can always take the paint off I'm not happy with it lol, I ask for advice and that's what you and Robert give which I am always grateful for. I have a cataract which is ready for removing and I don't always see colours as others see them, at least that's my excuse!!!
Well think It might look a bit twee!! but am fairly happy with it, I've tried not to do too much detail with the bluebells and just give a hint of flowers, I was in danger of putting too many.  In the original ref. photo, the wood was full of them. Colours used, sap green, lemon yellow, ultramarine, burnt umber, magenta and titanium white.
Looking at it I think I might need a bit more work on the edge of the wood.
Well that’s a huge improvement Linda, only small tweaks, but that’s all it needed - good job!
