Looking forward to seeing the finished painting.. looks excellent Anth .
Coming along very nicely.  Really look forward to seeing the final painting.  Inspired by yours I recently completed my painting on the gallery "Ford Hot Rod", complete with painted flames!!
Just had a look, nice one Steve! Loving the D Type WIP as well 👌
My painting mojo seems to have taken an unexpected holiday recently, but finally got some time in tonight on Automatron: I’ve put a self imposed deadline on this one to try and gee myself up a bit (that and the fact that my pontiac needs new brakes and this’ll pay for them!) - I will, come hell or high water, have this finished Easter weekend!

Doing very well here, as you usually do!    Very impressive, and a keen eye for detail.
Cheers Robert! Painting nuts and bolts is...interesting! Getting back into the swing now though, which is great.
I’ve managed to get back into my ‘paint every day, no matter what’ mindset, which has meant that some of the areas I’ve been avoiding have been attacked: The range of materials used in this car is incredible - over the last couple of days I’ve painted copper, brass, aluminium, chrome, leather and rubber!

Wow, wow and wow! The detail is incredible.  A fantastic painting and your rendition of the different materials is brill.
Cheers Steve! This one’s tested me over the last few months but feels like it’s moving towards a conclusion now, which is great.
Your subject choice isn’t my taste Ant but these are incredible... fab.
Thanks so much Sylvia 😊
Hats off to all that accuracy Ant. How you manage to portray each material so convincingly is amazing. Plus the perspective.....was this a commissioned piece? My memory's gone🙂
