Thanks all 😊 Auto Matron, that could be fun - Lewis, over to you!
Spent the whole afternoon finishing the front wheel off and painting some engine detail: Booked a long weekend off to try and break the back of this one as would love to have it finished in January.
Is this a commission Anth? And I've got to ask....do you ever crap it up 😆 and have to re- paint? I do!
Yes it is Marjorie, car belongs to a friend who asked me to paint it. And yes, it has been known 😊 had to adjust the colour of a grey Mustang because it was too warm, and had to brighten a green one as it wasn’t vivid enough.
Wow, looking real good Anth.  Looking forward to the final painting.
Going so well Anth, that front wheel is a thing of beauty!
Thanks both! Keeping the momentum going and doing a bit every day, I’d love to have this one finished early February.
Doesn’t look like massive amounts of progress here, but got a fair bit of detail in: Hoping to get a couple of days on it before returning to work and start to pull the front end together.
Ah - work - the toad that sits on our lives (I believe Mr P Larkin is the originator of that vision).  I thought I'd retired from work, and then they made me take on an office in my political party, against which I should have struggled, and still might.  If anyone could rescue me I should appreciate it.
A few more pieces of excellence added.  One of the pleasures of art, is seeing work you could never attempt yourself.  The discipline, the hours involved, and the skill of course.  On top of all that, it's such a wonderful subject.  Power to your elbow, Anth.
Thank you kindly Lewis :) I’m not the most disciplined person but I’m forcing myself to show some here as, I think I’ve mentioned before, one day off and it’ll be a month before I know it! I’m very fortunate Robert, in that I really enjoy my job, and the firm I work for are a pleasure to deal with. Been in some dark places previously and it has a massive bearing on my creative output, no doubt about it! Hope your political role doesn’t come with too much executive stress 😊
Your dedication show's through in the work you produce Anthony, looking forward to your final painting 🎨
