I painted and posted  this back in lockdown, and want to print it for someone moving to their first home. I feel the sunflower is too dominant and distracts. Could I crop so only half the sunfower is in view or would that make it even worse! Link to image is below. Thanks in anticipation of your experience and wisdom. Nooooo Judith . Don't crop ,it's quite delightful just as it is. They will love it. 
I like it the way it is, delightful.
Definitely keep that lovely sunflower - it’s a symbol ( to me) of happiness and optimism. They ‘ ll love your gesture I’m sure.
I'd also leave it be. 
I would be very happy to receive a card with such a lovely sunflower as the focus . 
I commented on your post in the gallery that it would make a great card for a new home, not having read this post on here. It's super, don't crop it.
