I found a Brian Duff, but only on one very uninformative site - he's a US painter, but his dates aren't given.  It may be that the name is a bit longer, it's very hard to see at this resolution (or I haven't the eyesight); or that this is not the work of a professional artist, which I suspect it isn't - in which case, nearly 40 years on, they're going to be hard to find.

One of the easier signatures to identify - almost certainly B Duff. A reasonably competent charcoal drawing although not a listed artist according to Artprice which I subscribe to! No great surprise there…
