Yes, checked just now - I received it too.  "Hello Dear" she/he/it begins - bloody cheek!  I felt like sending a rude reply, but I don't think it's a good idea to engage with them, and wouldn't recommend it.  A scammer on the phone just now, too - doesn't pay to be trusting, does it?

I've received this too but as a website owner I find it's nothing new, so just ignored it. HOWEVER, what I am concerned about is how she could contact me through POL. I thought we could only contact other members where we 'follow' each other. Is there some other method of contacting members that I'm unaware of?

where can you "email this artist" please? i've not found. The only what i can do, is to send a "message" to someone, (into this website) assuming you “follow” that person. But anyone who is registered in POL, can send me an email? Please show me this; thx.

ah, thank U Alan, but I'm a bit confused; test: when I'm unregistered, then I see e.g. I don't have the option to send me an email (I'm not logged in and using a different browser as a test). Do you see it that way too, or can you send me an email?

Tanja, if logged in, you can see 'email this artist'. If not logged in, this does not show.

Yes Tanja. I just tried this as a test. I am not currently following you, so that is not necessary. I had to select a painting in your gallery, then the option is there to email you. Hope that makes sense and that you receive it! Tessa
