Hello everyone,
I am kindly asking for your help.
This is my first paiting, i dont draw either. But I wanted to try both, and develop my creative side - as I feel it’s at level 0.
But here is the result, I find it too dark but I dont know
how to correct it. Thought about adding golden paper, and blurr the lines.
Do you have any idea or technique? Or a link to some tutorials i could Watch for that matter?
Thank you very much to everyone who will take the Time to share their thoughts.

What materials are you using, to start with? What you have so far is a dismembered torso, and what you can do with it depends on what you want to do with it, how you mean it to look, how you envisage developing it. Yes it's dark - but the obvious way of dealing with that is to add whites and yellows; I don't know what you mean by "golden paper" - have you collage in mind?
YouTube is full of tutorials, just look for "painting", "drawing", or "Paint Coach" (he's one of the better ones).
In terms of helping you, you need to give us rather more information to work with.

I think it depends on what sort of vision you want for the final result. It could be that you maybe want to look more at body structure and anatomy to develop the torso a little bit. You may consider adding some drama, lights and darks for example light hitting the shoulder and falling across the torso. These are just things to think about and experiment with. The main advice is to keep practicing.

My advice… don’t dwell on any single painting for too long! Move on and start another, as a newcomer to art, you need all the hands-on painting experience that you can get - you should be turning out several, if not more pieces of artwork each day… it’s the only way to advance your skill level!
And don’t forget the most important discipline… drawing! Good drawing skills are the backbone of good art!
Good luck in your artistic adventure!
