Thanks all, and Sylvia - your post is not as blunt as my original one, which I deleted before sending. It's the handling of the subject matter that offends, quite honestly. Actually, I will be blunt. There's life nude studies and there's ....  If I wanted to view "page 3" type work, I'd buy a tabloid newspaper.  Will restart looking at the gallery when this stuff stops.  Otherwise it will only encourage others.

I’m afraid Norrette that unless the site managers have a word there’s not much to be done.
Thanks Marjorie, I've commented on the latest piece.  I am now going to search for some Mapplethorpe nudes. If nothing happens then two can play at this game. :-)
Norrette, seen your comments - it’s not actually a nude, but a rather beautiful piece of digital fantasy art (depending on one’s opinion, of course) - there’s been some far more offensive work on the gallery in the past!

We’ve all said, in the past, that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. All I can say is, that, as a woman, I find some of the images demeaning. To me some of the stances are soft porn and they would be more suitable on a different site. My opinion.

Ha ha - and to make doubly sure, I’ve said it twice.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but haven’t we also said in the past that if you don’t like an artwork in the gallery it’s best to just skip over it and not make any really negative comments which may be genuinely upsetting to the artist and cause unnecessary unpleasantness all round?

I don’t usually make comments for that reason , we all want to avoid unpleasantness.
The pic in question is questionable  , yes there has been worse on here.  The site isn't adults only and can be  accessed by children. I don't particularly want to see it.  Life drawings / paintings ,yes why not.
When viewing some of the images produced for the gaming industry, the ones posted in the gallery are no different, its all fantasy. I too, think they are beautiful, and have posted a request, just for fun.

I'm afraid I disagree, there is a flood of these superenhanced semi-nudes which objectify women - so its difficult to ignore them. Which is why I believe such work cannot really be classified as an oil. However,  as I finished my copy of Leisure Artist last night I found a digital landscape featured on the backcover, by the same artist. So its not going to stop.  Leaves me with little option really.
