Mmm, shouldn't be though as 'new website' is the header.  Perhaps POL lovely people can sort it out and combine the two as it would make more sense if this has happened?

Confused now,.  I like the new gallery it has been working well for me, view and likes are  great...  Latest post at the top,. As before, and if you viewed your own gallery the view count increases the same as it did on the old site... I like the random selection on the more from artist bit, it shows older ones I'd forgotten about... Maybe that's a good thing....     I've have noticed that a few things have changed today, like the view counts and likes on my account page / my art.  I have noticed that the like count on individual paintings is different to that of the gallery...  But saying that I am very happy with the new site, again POL well done.

I really like that new feature, Tessa for the same reasons :) I had the same Carol, a comment on a painting posted months ago, and it made me realise that there is no longer a date on our gallery posts. I would prefer they were at least in chronological order as I would rather have my recent stuff show first if anyone goes looking. At least it makes it more likely that people will comment on older work which they rarely did before. Tessa

I’m in sketching mode at present so tried to post today’s offering only to be told that I had already reached my limit of four for today. I haven’t uploaded anything today, ( did yesterday) so slightly peed off that this is still not working properly! Grrrr...

I think it now counts the 4 per 24 hours, rather than per day (after midnight). So could it be that you posted 4 yesterday and now it's not quite 24 hours yet?

I posted some sketches yesterday evening, tried today as a test, I thought I would be blocked. Informed I had posted my four, for the day and to try again tomorrow. As I expected this I was not disappointed, but will try after 8 o’clock this evening to see if the twenty four hrs is up. Not a problem as I don’t alway have stuff to post each day normally.

My apologies if this has already been covered but have been off the site for a while and not caught up with all the discussion around this new site, which I'm trying to get my head around. I'm trying to catch up on my favourite artists and find that an artist search does not produce the paintings in date order. Nor does an artist search seem to produce many 2019 paintings (Alan's being an example). Am I doing something wrong or is this still being ironed out? Admittedly I haven't done a lot on the site yet so perhaps I'm missing something.

Personally I find the random selection a stumbling block if I'm trying to find the most recent works by specific artists. This is going to make it very difficult to catch up when I've been away. I'm trying to catch up on people at the moment and while I do enjoy seeing earlier works I could do that before with an artist search, while now I can't easily find the most recent.
