A number of members have asked where Michael has got to - I wrote to him via his website, as he was to do one of Paul's painter introductions as well. Michael is OK, but mourning his wife of 58 years, whose funeral is this week.  He has given me permission to let you all know.  He promises that he will be back, though it may take him a few weeks to get his John Voss introduction written. I have sent him condolences on behalf of all of us, confident that all of you would wish me to.

That is sad news indeed Robert.  Several of us on this forum know, from experience, what he is going through.  It's not something you get over, it's not something you want to get over, but it is something you DO learn to live with.  I look froward to him participating once again.

I have just looked in for the first time for quite a while and so much appreciate the kind comments of you all. Yes I will be back but need a little time to come to terms with my loss,  This is a difficult week with my dear Jeanne's funeral on Thursday but I hope to start wielding the brush soon as I know Jeanne would have wished me to do.
