I don’t know about everyone else but I look at the forum and gallery several times a day  without thoughts of what goes on behind the scenes . It’s a great facility that I think we tend to take for granted and what’s more it’s free . Without POL I  would not have the opportunity to chat to like minded people , or other that the Louvre ( sorry spelling mistake should read loo ) hand my painting .  I know Dawn and the team including the technicians put a lot of work into running and maintaining the site . To her and all the team I would like to say a big thank you  and offer one of my favourite painting as a token of thanks and respect for all they do. Please do join in, add your thanks ,  words,   and a painting too.  Thank you Dawn and all at POL.

Yes, POL has become part of my daily life, and much valued, especially recently.  I'm so grateful that they offer this service. POL and 'the Artist' have become a constant and reliable source of inspiration.  I may not paint the subjects popularly featured, but no matter what or how you paint, the inspiration is still there.  My friends here on POL provide even more inspiration with their work, advice, encouragement and all-round bonhomie. I have nothing new artwise to offer, but here's the first picture I uploaded back in November 2017 when I joined. And do you know what?  People commented on it.  It's had 560 views...small beans for other artists, I know, but as I paint for my own pleasure only friends and family would have seen it prior to joined POL.  But these days my friends have expanded, virtually at least. Thank you POL.

Popping in to echo everyone's sentiments! This site has certainly been important to me - many new virtual friends and a great staff with a lovely personal touch, you wouldn't find that often anywhere else. During these last two years, as Bari says, it has provided so much support.
