Hi All.
As part of a review of some of the PO content (which is vast, as you can imagine!) we would appreciate your input on mediums and subjects to help us streamline things a bit.
Please could you tell us your favourite mediums and subjects (a maximum of six for each) on this thread?
Thanks in advance,
Dawn

Das ist einfach!
Ahem. Mediums with oil: Linseed Oil. Occasionally Stand Oil.
Watercolour: Water.
Acrylic: Water - occasionally a resinous medium, but not often.
Gouache: A bit of water.
As for the painting media, as opposed to the media mixed with them: in order: Acrylic; oil; watercolour; gouache; and any drawing medium that comes to hand, including charcoal, conté, carbon, pen and ink, coloured pencil - and very, very rarely, pastel.
Aye aye, that's your lot (for our older listeners.....).

Oils, acrylics, acrylic inks, watercolour, soft pastels, polycromas coloured pencils, brusho pens/markers. Gouache. Pencils basically anything that takes my interest. More than six I know, but this is how I work.
Subjects are usually seascapes, landscapes, abstract/semi. Animals flowers, places I have visited.and anything else that takes my interest, Hope this is useful as I do seem to try everything.

Favourite mediums - watercolour (mainly Daniel Smith tubes) used with pen and ink, acrylic ink, Neocolour II water soluble wax pastels, inktense pencils. Also do quite a few linocuts. Subjects mostly from the world of nature - often animals, usually painted in a stylised illustrative way. For paper I use Saunders Waterford NOT 300 lbs in High White.
