Oh I do like Dungenes, I’ll try that one in ink later, thanks Dawn.
Okay then, I'll kick off today's with the Dungeness photo, great silhouette and some impact with that stunning sky! A rough ink sketch on Strathmore Toned Grey board.
Nice one Alan - and so quick too! Pleased to see the photos are being used.
Just checking in.. Great idea And very interesting to see the posts..
Been too busy gardening today with the weather being nice but great pics again Dawn, good sketch Alan and a welcome to Hillary,  (good painting) and Nandhini.
Nice one Alan, good photos Dawn. A very quick watercolour wash and pen from me.
A lot going on here, lots of good work.  I've been doing the same thing for several days and thought I'd sketch one of Dawn's photos for a change.  I chose the wolf.  I wanted to use pen & ink.  I'm pretty observant and I spotted straight away that wolves are covered in fur.......pen?....fur?...that sounds suspiciously like hard work to me.  So I've just done the head.   (For the statisticians among you, this meant making 3,000,029 dots and short marks.)
Some more lovely sketches.  Love that wolf head, Lewis, incredible detail.   Think I'll have a go at the Dungeness photo later - more great photos, Dawn - and a really interesting variety of techniques etc.  Good to see more folk commenting and getting involved.  Here is my yesterday's rhino - a rather quick sketch - fountainpen and water.

Managed to get a quickie done this evening, apologies for the photo, artificial light. Some cracking animal and flower sketches done by you all. Like your moody skies and pylons Alan and Paul. A quick, Quink sketch.
Two more for today:
Loving seeing all your sketches so far. Hope you find the kingfisher at Dungeness and the ancient tree at Bedgebury inspiring too!
