I don't recall this complicated, but wonderful old tree being attempted, I could be wrong! So I've just knocked out my version - all those gorgeous sweeping branches were dropped in using a No 8 synthetic brush, the smaller one's with a rigger - great fun! Acrylic ink on A4 Strathmore laid finish grey charcoal paper.
Very windy here today so I thought I would try the stormy skies!!!
Of Dawn’s most recent photos, I chose to do the wildflower one in a semi abstract sort of fashion.....thanks again Dawn.
Alan, the use of a rather graphic style has worked beautifully on that tree; lovely sky and intricate pylon detail Hilary; and I love that wildflower panel, Fiona - it looks like an embroidered fabric - beautiful.
This is my first attempt at the daily photo.  Enjoyed doing it very much
Nice one Irene, well done for taking part too. Have a go at the daily sketch as well, it’s a good way to develop skill not that you need it Looking  at this.
Very delicate and subtle Irene. Welcome!
Lovely work over the weekend! Here are two from my son again today:
