Great work Denise you really have an excellent eye for the detail.   I had a go at turning my granddaughter into 'Girl with a pearl earing' a couple of years ago..

So kind everyone. I don't know about being a natural, at this art lark Lewis but I'm probably a natural pain. That's wonderful of your granddaughter Bari. I can't believe how much of a wonderful entity art is and how much I regret not finding it sooner but I'm glad I found it at the end of the day.

I must say, Sam is a fine figure in a blue headdress and it colour coordinates so well with his eyes. The pearl earring makes him look ever so cute. Lovely Sylvia.

I've just come across Carlo Dolci and have been looking at his work and reading about him. I come across one of his portraits that I just loved, I might have a crack at it for my next practice. If it turns out you will see it on the gallery at some point
