Okey doke - well, Tom, tell me how you'd like to be paid and how to do it, and if Alan B gets desperate, I'll sell him a couple of tubes. These tubes should last me to the end of my days, so consider this a firm offer.  RJ
You can send me a cheque if you like, Robert. We can exchange address details via private message. I've read that one must "follow" the person one wants to correspond with. I'll try that.
Yes, Alan. The similarity in name could confuse folks, especially as Marc Jackman calls his website Jackman's Art Materials ! From what I've read Jackman's watercolours re-wet easily. I'll put 'em in some ceramic pans I've got coming. Should be as you say---no waste.
Ceramic pans are perfect, along with a large mixing palette - the late Ron Ranson used a butchers tray, they’re perfect. Looking further ahead, why not join in with this community and post some of your work on the gallery! We’re a friendly bunch in the main!
Tom - that doesn't seem to be working - you  can send me a message through my blog - wightpaint.blogspot.com - or find me, under my own name, on the dreaded Facebook.  I  can't follow you, because you don't yet appear in the system - probably because you've not yet posted in the Gallery.
I've tried to post in the gallery. The first required field is "Please select a gallery". I click on that, and instead of a drop-down menu appearing from which to make a selection the phrase "Please select a gallery" reappears. When I attempt to upload an image nothing happens. I've visited your blogspot. Can't see any means by which to send you a message. Am not a member of Facebook. I love internet websites (!)
Tom when it drops down write in landscape , still life or whatever you want to call the gallery. You should the have a drop down menu to use and post the painting. Good luck, it’s a bit fiddly and daunting at first but you don’t need to be a genius to use it .
Tom, you have to create the gallery. Below “ please select a gallery” you’ll see “ create a new gallery”. That’s where you type in what Paul has suggested. After you have done this, go back to “ select a gallery”, click on your painting and it will appear further down and after you have submitted it, it will be saved in that gallery. Clear as mud eh?
Ta folks. It's not so much daunting as inexplicable.
Jolly good. Got two items saved.
Dat's my boy!  I've had a look at the blog, and you're right, the email connection seems to have disappeared (isn't the internet wonderful?); but you could post a comment, I think, and put a message there. However - I have an email address which gets a lot of spam anyway so I don't mind sharing it (it's not my usual  one): just send me your address to: [email protected]; I'll send you mine, with payment for your paint.
Plus, I'm now following you, so you should be able to follow and message me.  Persistence pays, you see...... Plus - it seems we both need to be logged in at the same time......... technology is so wonderful.  When it works.  If it works.....
